Today was the AIDS Walk in Los Angeles. Several RLSH from allover met today to support a cause and help raise money for AIDS treatment and research. All in all, myself (The Urban Avenger, Mr. Xtreme, Good Samaritan (all of the Xtreme Justice League) Motor Mouth and Kingsnake (of the NorCal Pacific Protectorate), DC's Guardian, Dangerman, and a newcomer, Bearman were all in attendance for the event. This is the first time almost all of the RLSH in California had worked together. I decided to do the walk in my recently acquired powerbocks; spring powered stilts that allow me to run faster and jump higher than an average person. This was a personal test to my strength and stamina. I proved successful in my test as I was able to walk the entire distance (6.2 miles,or 10 km) in them without really stopping, or sitting anyway. The whole thing probably took about three hours to do. Lots and lots of people took pictures with myself and the other RLSH. I was even interviewed by a reporter, but I never figured lout who she worked for. She did take my name, and asked me a few questions about what I do as an RLSH (and the community in general) I mentioned the Xtreme Justice League and my YouTube page to her as well. Early on in the walk there were a small group of religious protesters with mean spirited signs, but there'snot much one can do. hey were harming no one and were within their rights.
Afterwards everyone involved was interviewed my Mr. Peter Tangen. I was good to work with all of these RLSH, some I have met before, some I work with on a regular basis, and some I met for the very first time. It was a pure joy and an absolute honor to work with all of them. I look forward to next year's walk.
So this was the Dangerman that is the guy with an all blue gimmick? Right on!
